Top 5 Terraria mods
5. Super Terraria World
You may have seen the huge buzz around this model last year, when the single player dropped which was covered by PC gamer. It was on top of the Terraria subreddit for some time since then the single-player aspect of the mod has been halted to work on something much bigger.
Super Terraria world is a fully developed RPG for Terraria with quests custom animations, a leveling system, a unique teleportation system and filled with beautiful buildings.
The mod feels almost like playing an adventure map and an entirely different game all at once. What they’re working on now though has been the more exciting. The teams were actually working on taking this single-player mod and turning it into a 24 hour MMO for players to drop in and out.
4. Dual Wielding
Terraria 1.4 Console Release Date
Dual Wielding mod actually made by the currently developer of Terraria. It’s actually been an on-and-off project for quite some time. The mod sterday would focus on playing Terraria in a whole new way.
Terraria Console Bundle Xbox
This mod definitely encourages that the dual wielding mod adds a second hot bar into the game, which allows you to pair up various items to have some brilliant effects. For example you can hold a torch while you mine or you can use a sword as you throw a LAN to the floor.
This is not a huge mod by any means but it doesn’t need to be because of how it functions. You will be taking advantage of it from the moment you start a play fruit to the very last minute.
3. Terraria Overhaul
It is time for brutal Terraria. The mod that took the community by surprise. This mod changes so much. With this mod you are playing a different game which some people will really enjoy.
Powerpoint student trial. The mod adds natural fires, custom animations for every type of weapon, new climbing animations physics and finally a barrel roll.
Now this mod definitely has the highest learning curve out of all of the others though because it requires you to forget everything you know about Terraria movement and combat which is honestly very challenging at first.
It will really test your limits. Check it out if you really want the challenge because you won’t regret.
2. Thorium
Thorium can be summarized as a huge expansion pack for Terraria. It’s adding hundreds of new items, tons of new enemies and a handful of clever bosses. It’s original concepts you see the 40 mod is great at rebalancing.
Terraria almost every item fitted into the mod sits well with all of the vanilla content in the base game. Which originally did not actually appeal to me but when you first discover the acquiring depths, a biome exclusive to four IAM and you get a slice of something completely new.
The mod really begins to show its colors and when you’ve finished that. You discover a whole new bard class. The mod enters a whole league of its own. The bard class is reason enough to download this mod.
You can play Terraria in a completely new way. Its main focus is on having the players what weapons constantly to activate certain buffs and deal damage. It is best when discovered on your own but know that alongside this new class in terraria and a whole new biome.
1. Calamity Mod
Calamity shifts the Terraria game play to focus more on giant bosses than it does anything else. Unlike forum clarity isn’t very balanced but it leads to a bunch of crazy weapons being used to take down even crazier bosses.
Terraria Console Mods
Calamity adds hundreds of new items, weapons, enemies armors. This mod also comes with a fully updated Wikipedia page to go along with it. You can actually take advantage of all of the information out there to make your play even easier.
The best part of this mod is the content it actually adds to the game. Post Moon Lord which means if you’re looking for a mod to pick up straight away and continue your old character this is probably the best fit.
The amount of content it adds post Moon Lord will give you a good 5 to 10 hours of extra game play time as some of the challenges. It presents will have you repeatedly dying and trying all over again.
You reward for this though is stupidly fun and powerful endgame weapons and some crazy accessories that will make you move faster than ever before.
Terraria Console Bundle
This mod is definitely a must-have and when paired with Thorium will give you so much content you won’t even be able to use it all. It’s just amazing.
